Ingredients
- 8 hot peppers, OR
- 2 tablespoons Tabasco sauce, OR
- ¼ cup ground red pepper
- 6 ½ cups sugar
- 1 ½ cups apple cider vinegar
- ¾ cups green bell pepper
- 6 oz. fruit pectin (one Certo box contains 2 3oz. packages, use both)
Instructions
- Put sugar in a large pot.
- Chop the bell pepper and put in a blender with the hot peppers and vinegar, and mix well
- Add the blended mixture to the sugar and bring to a boil stirring constantly. When you can’t stir down the boil, add fruit pectin and return to boil.
- Remove from heat and stir for 3 to 5 minutes. Pour into hot, sterilized jars, seal with lids (not too tightly), and allow to cool.
- Ready in : 35 Minutes
