Ingredients
- 2-3 pound chuck roast
- Package of onion soup mix
- Package of ranch dressing mix
- Package of brown gravy or au jus mix
- 1 jar of whole pepperoncini, drained
- 6 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275-degrees.
- Mix dry seasonings together and cover both sides of roast.
- Put the roast in a heavy Dutch oven. Drain peppers and add to roast along with butter. Cook, covered, at 275 degrees for about 3 hours, don’t peek, don’t poke it with a fork. Leave it alone.
