Lemon Green Beans

Ann Hollowell's Lemon Green Beans made on The Cooking Lady

Ingredients
Green Beans
1 Lemon (zest & juice)
3 tbsp olive oil
Salt
Pepper

What To Do
Blanch fresh green beans in boiling water until tender, but still retaining bright green color.
Shock immediately in a bowl of ice water, then drain and set aside.

Right before serving, heat through on medium high heat in a pan with olive oil and lemon juice, and serve very hot with lemon zest, fresh cracked pepper and a sprinkle of kosher salt to taste.
