Ingredients
1 lb green beans
5 strips of bacon
2 tbsp lemon pepper
toothpicks
What To Do
Blanch green beans until just tender then put them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Cut the bacon strips in half. Gather about 8 to 10 green beans together in a bundle and wrap with half a strip of bacon, secure the bacon and beans with a toothpick and place on a cooking sheet. Makes about 10 bean bundles. After all the bundles are on the plate sprinkle with lemon pepper. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes (you can turn them mid-way through the cooking process and sprinkle with more lemon pepper, but it’s not necessary.)
I love to use the fresh vegetable with this instead of canned green beans, the flavors are so much more intense.
