Ingredients
- 1 box cake mix, any flavor
- 1 container of regular whipped topping (8 ounce), not lite , diet, or low fat
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- MIx cake mix and whipped topping together, this will be very thick, but keep mixing. Then add beaten egg, and blend well. Put in fridge for at least 30 minutes to chill well.
- Using a cookie dough scoop, place about 12 scoops of dough well enough apart on a baking sheet. These will really spread out, so leave room. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes, or until edges turn slightly brown. Remove immediately from oven, and allow to cool slightly in order to remove from pan, then place on cooling rack. Sprinkle with powered sugar as cookies cool, allowing them to come completely to room temperature.
- Letting these cookies cool somewhat on the baking pan is key to having them remain intact as you transfer to cooling rack.
